- 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate bits
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups dry oatmeal
- 2 cups shredded coconut
In a large sauce pan, melt chocolate bits and butter, then add milk and bring to boil.
After mixture boils for two minutes, add vanilla and peanut butter and heat until peanut butter is melted completely.
Meanwhile, stir oatmeal and coconut together in a bowl.
After the peanut butter is mixed in completely with the milk mixture, add in oatmeal/coconut and stir it until dry ingredients are coated.
Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto waxed paper and let cool.
Any that are leftover after making (fat chance of that if kids live in your place) should be refrigerated or frozen or next-day-mailed directly to me. :)
